Xposé Magazine Feature – Christmas Day Outfit

Hey guys,

I’M BACK!!!! So sorry for the lack of posts over the past two months. It’s been a whirlwind! It was so hard to get to a computer when I was travelling in Australia over Christmas and I had to focus on my studies since I got back… BUT I’m back from Australia now and I had my Viva last week (and was awarded my Ph.D. 🙂 ) so I’ll be back to posting more regularly. Well, that is if this horrible weather ever decides to let up and allow me to get some pics. Christmas in Australia was AMAZING!! I absolutely loved it and really didn’t want to come home. I would love to share some of my experiences and the summer outfits I wore during the 6 weeks that I was there with you. So I might try to do a post with some snaps from Oz but I honestly have thousands of pictures (I tend to get kind snap happy when I travel), so bare with me.

Now back to my outfit. As you can guess this post is a little late. I tried to post it before Christmas but was so busy travelling the east coast I just couldn’t squeeze it in. Last November the lovely ladies at Xposé Magazine asked me if I would do a feature showing what I would wear on Christmas day and this is the outfit I chose! Typically, I like to keep my Christmas Day outfit very simple but I always make sure I wear something that allows plenty of room for a little Christmas food baby. 🙂 You really can’t go wrong with monochrome, so I wore this fab cream satin blouse and black satin skater skirt with very simple accessories. I added an interesting little twist with these laces up heels. I love them! They are a real statement shoe that can really make an outfit.

I hope you like my look and I promise I won’t leave it as long until my next post,

[…] I really think a great white shirt is such a key piece to have in your wardrobe. It’s so versatile and really can be worn in so many different ways. It’ll be perfect for a relaxed look strolling around the city, to wear to an interview and I will even be able to dress it up with heels and a cute skirt to head out for some cocktails. Check out some of my previous white shirt looks here, here and here. […]
