Autumn Knitwear

It’s FRIDAY! I’m gonna start today by sharing some sad news (well for me anyway). My camera has been a little sick for the last few weeks. It just completely stopped working nearly two weeks ago for absolutely no reason (major sad face). Now I am completely freaking out that it won’t be fixed before I leave for New York… First world problems eh?! I know it’s really nothing major but it is a bit of a pain because I have soooooo much to do and my camera comes EVERYWHERE with me… I kinda feel like I have lost a limb. Lucky for me, the lovely Kathy from Kathy Lyons Photography lives near me and she kindly offered to get some shots before I leave… YAAAAY! Thanks so much Kathy.

So here is the look Kathy shot for me (I shared an #ootd snap of this look on my Instagram a few days ago too). As some of you may know from previous looks (see here, here and here), I am quite a  fan of the F&F range. There is no way I can make a trip to Tesco without paying a visit to the F&F section and, more often than not, I usually walk away with a nice little treat for myself. This knit cardi is my latest treat (although I could honestly get so much more. I’m very impressed with the A/W range). I’m so happy with it… it fits beautifully and it is so unbelievably soft… I can’t stop touching it!!

For me, knits are such an essential wardrobe piece for A/W and I usually buy a few great pieces every year. I’ve already bought one or two bits for this season but I really have to stop now and focus on bringing what I have with me to NY. This will be an amazing piece to have for fall in the Big Apple though. The rest of my look is pretty simple… all black and a pop of colour with my gawjus MK bag (I still love it as much as the day I bought it). I topped the look off with my slightly altered fedora. This hat came with a thin green band (see here) but I swapped it for a black band here. I think the black band is so much more versatile. 🙂
