Spring in New York

spring in new york 1

Spring in New York is a funny one to master. It’s hot one minute and the next the wind chill means you are literally freezing your arse off. What’s a girl (who hates being cold) to do? I’ve been layering! Wearing lots and lots of layers. Sleeveless blazers like this black Primark one (courtesy of my sister sent – she also sent me these pieces) are perfect. They add that extra bit of warmth, but still aren’t too hot when the temperatures pick up. This is my third sleeveless blazer (I have a white and green one too), and I would happily add a few more to my collection.

On another note, I got some great news yesterday. I have wanted to live in New York since the very first time I came here and I found out I am one step closer to being able to stay here for another few years. There’s still a little while to wait until I find out for sure. Fingers crossed everything goes well and I get to live out my dream for a little bit longer. A year just isn’t long enough.

Have a great week guys,

Lorna x
