High Neck Chiffon Top

irish fashion: highneck chiffon top

This week has been absolutely crazy… but in a good way! It all kicked off at the start of the week when I found out I got a visa to stay here for another few years (happy, happy, happy, happy, happyyyyy!). I mentioned I had made it through the lotto system to get this visa at the start of May and I’ve been a nervous wreck waiting to hear ever since. I’d been really unsettled over the last few weeks and I definitely think this was a big reason (I have been sick too though). I finally found out this week and thankfully it was good news!!

On Tuesday, I was featured with Erika and Louise on the USIT blog. We were talked all about how we met, blogging away from home and what it’s like living and working in New York on the graduate visa (you can see the post here). It was amazing to be featured with the girls. I honestly couldn’t imagine being here without them. It’s so hard to believe this time last year none of us knew each other…

This morning I’m up bright and early to see Hozier in Central Park. I’ve been up since 4:30am, but it’ll be totally worth it. After lunch we’re escaping the city for the weekend and heading to The Hamptons. I am SO EXCITED!! It’s going to be amazing to have a break from the city for a few days (it’s been so humid this week) and to be within walking distance of a beach. If you don’t already, be sure to follow along on Instagram and Snapchat (usernames: @lcscloset) for lots of updates over the next few days.

A quick few words about my outfit here before I go… well it’s more about this high neck chiffon top (I’m obsessed!). I picked this up in the H&M sale for $20 (such a steal!). It’s so so nice and I got so many compliments when I wore it. I love the high neck detail and those sleeves – too FAB (even if I do say so myself)!! I found this similar beauty (I linked it in my Currently Craving post earlier this week) that I REALLY want too, but it’s nearly sold out. I did find a few more similar tops here, here, here and here! I love them and can already sense a new obsession.

Have a great weekend,

Lorna x
