A Hamptons Weekend

August 4, 2015
weekend in the hamptons: westhampton

Back to the grind after a fun filled weekend in The Hamptons. Montauk is the only part of The Hamptons I’d been to before, so it was great to be able to explore other areas and see how the other half live (the houses and cars have to be seen to be believed!). The plan came about after Michaela from Life of Lady Bear suggest a little weekend away right as the Cape Cod blues set in last month. Even though I live in one of the best cities in the world, it’s always nice to have a little trip to look forward to, especially when it’s with a great gang of people.

If you follow me on Instagram and Snapchat (usernames: lcscloset), you’ll probably have seen most of what we got up to. Louise and Erika were on the trip too (yes we are joined at the hip 🙂 ), along with 7 other guys and gals. We stayed in a picture perfect house in Hampton Bays (that came with picture perfect bikes) and basically ate our way through the weekend. Barbecues, s’mores (s’mores and more s’mores), cupcakes, ice cream, lots and lots of pancakes… you get the idea…

As always, we managed to pack quite a lot in. On Friday we went to a gorgeous beach in right near where we were staying in Hampton Bays. On Saturday we started the day off on the right foot with a big family breakfast, before setting off to Ponquogue Beach. After the beach we went to Southampton for a wander round. The town was just gorgeous and every store was cuter than the next. After Southampton we went back home for dinner and to get ready for a night out Hamptons style…

Sunday was very relaxed and chilled. We went to Westhampton for brunch and spent the day exploring. I can’t even begin to describe how gorgeous Westhampton is. It’s like something out of a postcard. The pictures here really don’t do it justice…

But we’re back to it and already planning our next adventure…

I hope you’re having a good week,

p.s. Can you tell I’m obsessed with that bike? I’ve even tracked one down online.
