Happy Hump Day! Autumn/Fall is in full swing in New York and although it’s my favourite time of year for fashion, I have never been more confused about what to wear. All week I have been wearing WAY too much clothes (scarf, boots, jacket – the works!). Today I decided to free my feet (while I still can) and leave my jacket at home, and what happened? I actually need them! Lesson 1 when dressing for fall… it’s all about the layers!
Like with my last two posts (black and white and stripe top and lace-up shoes), this is a look I shot before I went home (I’m almost up-to-date I swear!). It was one of those early September days where you could really feel summer drawing to a close and I needed to add some layers. This denim shirt is half way between a shirt and jacket, so it’s too perfect for layering at this time of year. Winter will be here before we know it, so I’m going to make the most of being able to add light layers while I can.
