The People’s Choice Awards were held in Los Angeles last night and that, of course, means red carpet style. White and nude tones proved to be the most popular shade eclipsing traditional black and the recent trend of brighter palettes. Here are the best dressed from the night.
Taylor Swift
She may be nursing a broken heart after breaking up with Harry Styles but Taylor Swift was undoubtedly one of, if not the best dressed on the night. Her deep plunge white Ralph Lauren gown and turquoise accessories worked perfectly with her smoky bronze eyes.
Ashley Rickards and Nikki Deloach
The Awkward stars knocked it out of the park last night, both opting for beautiful neutral colour dressed. 20-year-old Ashley wore a dress by Aidan Mattox.
Emma Watson
Emma Watson loves to experiment with fashion and last night was no exception. She showed off her youthful and playful side in this dress by Peter Pilotto.
Lea Michele
The ‘Glee’ actress wore a pink short-sleeve cocktail dress with embellished lace detailing from Elie Saab’s Spring 2012 collection. A braided updo, matching pink Elie Saab sandals and Anita Ko jewels completed her look.
Rumer Willis
The Sorority Row star wore a stunning full-length black and silver sequined alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet dress, and accessorised with a silver clutch and cobalt blue earrings.
