Jacket – Top – Jeans – Bag – Boots all from Choies

Tuesday Treats are back this week and, seeing as it’s the start of September, I’ve focused on a look with some essentials for back to college/school. I think the key thing when buying items for college is to buy versatile pieces that can be worn in a few different ways. The look I have created here is very much my style and all of the items will be sure to serve you well throughout the coming year.

Firstly, I picked a leather jacket. A great leather jacket is both practical and stylish as we start to head in to autumn and the temperatures start to drop. It’s also an item you will wear again and again, as you can wear it to college during the day and then use to cover up on night out. Like I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I have a little thing for stripes at the moment and this crop top is also a great versatile piece that will be perfect for taking you from day to night. I have mentioned before that I think skinny jeans are one of the key pieces in any wardrobe, so they are definitely an essential for college life. You will get so much wear out of them, so investing in a good pair is definitely the way to go. A backpack or bag to carry all of you bits for college is also a must. I really like the backpack trend at the moment and there are some really beautiful styles in the shop right now. To finish the look… a pair of boots. How great are these ones? Personally, I am always on the look out for a great pair of boots. I don’t know about you guys, but sometimes I find it so hard to find a pair that suit me. Boots are without a doubt a major A/W essentials and in Ireland, where we get more than our fair share of rain, spending a little extra on a leather or waterproof pair is definitely a wise decision.
