I have been lucky enough to be nominated twice for the Liebster Blog Award by Mak from Beautiful Freaks and Olivia from Friday Night Style. The Liebster Award is basically an award granted to up and coming bloggers with fewer than 200 followers who deserve some recognition and support to keep on blogging. So I would like to thank Mak and Olivia very much for nominating me. I was really happy to be nominated as it means that people actually read and enjoy my blog.

I don’t really have one specific favourite colour. I love colour, especially in my clothes. I think it is because I used to wear a lot of black of dresses and wanted to move away from that completely so I wear every colour. For some reason I am always drawn to green, especially with sweets. I also love purples and deep blues and have always been told that I red is my colour.

I would bring a hoodie because I hate being cold, matches to light a fire and drinking water as I always carry water with me.

Bastille Pompeii… I LOVE it! I’m also loving Justin Timberlake Mirrors and Taylor Swift 22!!

I love blogging as it allows me to express myself and experiment more with what I wear. It also gives me a small release from the stress of my Ph.D and keeps me motivated to progress with both my Ph.D and my blog.

Yes!! I am definitely a night owl. I am never in bed before 12 and when I do eventually go to bed, I usually spend at least half an hour surfing the internet.

This really is not a good question for me as I haven’t been to the cinema in aaaaaaages and really can’t remember what recent movies I have seen.

Definitely peplum. Everybody has been wearing peplum recently and you always hear that peplum suits everyone but I really don’t agree with this. I think it only makes people look bigger than they are.

Definitely half full. I always try to look for the positives in every situation.

I always wear earrings too! It`s a necessity. I feel really awkward when I have to take them off for badminton or something!
Ha… totally agree! On the rare occasion I forget to put on some I feel naked!
That and nail polish. You know how ladies in the fifties wouldn`t be caught dead without a nice dress and some pearls? That`s me and a manicure.
I just noticed this, but it bothers me. This award is for new bloggers! You have a lot of followers, and so do all of your nominees!

The award is for up and coming bloggers with less than 200 blog followers. I have only been blogging since the end of November so I would still consider myself very new to it and my following on my blog is quite a bit less than 200. I also think all of my nominees have less than 200 followers but maybe I made a mistake?! Having less than 200 followers is a requirement. 🙂
I don`t know anymore. I see blogs get the award with two thousand followers and some with ten. I see it all over the place, so it definitely isn`t just you, unless I was wrong and you didn`t do that at all. I just don`t know anymore! I think I`m just a fussy person 🙂
