Happy Christmas! How is your Christmas going? I’ve had a super lazy few days with family and way too much food. If I keep this up, I’ll be rolled be back to New York but after being away from home for Christmas for the last two years, my plan was to make the most of it.

And I have been… If you follow me on Snapchat (username: lcscloset) you might think I spend a lot of time at Ashford Castle when I’m home. I really don’t, but I am lucky to have the castle on my doorstep. Last Monday my mother, sisters, brother’s fiancé, and I had Afternoon Tea at Ashford. I really do love it here (it’s extra beautiful at Christmas) and afternoon tea is the perfect way to spend an evening.

On Wednesday I met up with Aishling (a London based photographer/blogger from Mayo) to shoot this look. Ashford just happened to be the perfect, convenient backdrop to get some shots and afterwards we were lucky enough to be able to get a coffee at the castle and meet the Ashford wolfhounds…

The look I wore was all new… Well new to my wardrobe anyway – One of the main perks of being home is being able to raid my sisters’ wardrobes. 😉 I ‘robbed’ this striped New Look polo and sleeveless jacket (similar here) from my sister. I picked up my jeans in Penneys/Primark last week and my beautiful Dorothy Perkins fur stole arrived just in time for Christmas (it is FAB!!). Finally, these French Connection boots!! I really don’t need any more boots but a few of my friends have these ones and I just loved them (#treatyoself!)!

As if all these new bits aren’t enough, I’ve spent the last few days grabbing some cheeky bargains in the online sales. Check out some of sales favourites in the widget below…
