Governors Ball 2016

A quick post from last weekend’s Governors Ball. This was the second year I went (I did a post on Gov Ball 2015 too) and it was the second year we totally lucked out with the weather. Last year we went on the Sunday… The only day it didn’t rain. This year, we had tickets for the Friday of the festival and although it was raining Friday morning, it cleared up just in time. Saturday ended up being a bit if a wash out towards the end of day and Sunday was called off with the crazy weather!! Seriously, how lucky are we?

I absolutely love dressing for festivals because it gives me a chance to wear something different to my normal day-to-day looks. My outfit was a total last minute buy though. Like with everything, I had been thinking about it for a few weeks but time has a funny way of flying by and of course I ended up with nothing to wearing until the night before. I had planned on wearing white runners with the dress, but I changed it up and went with boots because of the rain that morning.
