Words can’t describe how happy I am the weekend is nearly here. I’m not the type of person to live for the weekend, but after an extremely busy January (at work, going skiing and having friends visit – so happy Louise got to come back for a few days), I’m ready for a quiet, chilled out February. February is my birthday month, but I’m really not big on birthdays so I’m happy enough to let it pass with a treat yoself day (hello Buttercup Cupcakes). I’m actually really excited to finally have a chance to catch up on everything I’ve been planning to do for the last few months. I don’t know where the time went but I just couldn’t seem to find the time to get it done…

Anywho… Today’s look! I got these snaps with Edelle in Central Park last weekend, just in time to catch the snow. Winter has been so warm this year, especially compared to last year (remember this snap and this one aaaand this one?) and I am definitely not complaining. Last year I lived in my down coat, but this year I can mix it up and wear all of my (ever expanding collection of) coats. The one I’m wearing here is new in from SheIn and it got a great reaction when I wore it on Snapchat (username: lcscloset).  It’s so much warmer than it looks, so it’s ideal for this time of year. The colours are perfect for spring too.

I’m also wearing my all time favourite jeans (a bold statement I know). They’re from Penneys/Primark (similar here) and they honestly fit like a dream. I do love some Penneys jeans! This was an outfit of favs for sure, because I’m wearing my favourite boots too. I hemmed and hawed about getting these French Connection beauties for the longest time but I am so happy I did! They’re so fab and comfy too!! 😀
