Happy Friday! Yay yay YAY for the weekend. I actually started off this week thinking Monday was Tuesday (don’t ask me how), so I’ve been a little all over the place this week and am very happy to see the weekend arrive. It is my last weekend in New York before I go home for Christmas too, so you know the Christmas festivities will be at an all time high on my Snapchat and Instagram (usernames – lcscloset). Actually, if you follow me on Instagram you might have noticed it looks like Christmas puked all over my feed… Oops!! Of course I’m loving it.

Anywho, this is the first of two posts I am (hopefully) going to have today. This week has been extra mental between work, events and overloading on Christmas, so I didn’t get around to posting on Wednesday. So here is Wednesday’s post. Of course it’s also Friday and that means there’ll be a Friday Five, so keep your eyes peeled for that a little later on today…

Today’s post is the latest in my Christmas in New York series. Today I am taking you to one of the many Christmas markets we have in New York at Bryant Park. Personally, Bryant Park is my favourite Christmas market for a number of reasons. Firstly, it has an ice rink which makes it super Christmassy. Secondly, it has the most amazing selection of food and is a sweet lovers dream. You have to stop by No Chewing Allowed (for a free sample and some chocolates to take home), Waffles and Dingles (drool worthy) and Mrs Claus’s Cafe. There’s also a Max Brenner, Bakeshop by Woops  and plenty of other sweet and savory options. Thirdly, it has a good mix of other stalls. It also has a pretty amazing tree and it overlooks the Empire State. What my could a gal ask for?

A few words on my outfit before I move on to writing my Friday Five. I’m head to toe in Black Friday purchases today. If you follow me on Snapchat you may recognise my sweater from my mammoth task of trying to hunt it down on Black Friday. I eventually found it but the only size left was a size large. I bought it right away but if I had just held out a week, I would have been able to get it in every other size when it came back online. Oh well, I actually love how oversized it looks now that I have it. You’ll have seen my faux leather leggings in my last post and my boots are just out of the box from French Connection. I bought mine in Century 21, so I ended up saving quite a bit on these beauties.

Hope you’re having a good Friday,

Lorna x
