It’s safe to say 2012 was a very exciting year with some amazing fashion moments. In fact, there were so many great fashion moments that it was quiet hard to compose this list. However, I have managed to narrow it down to the top 7 celebrities/models/royals that I think shone brighter than the rest in 2012. In alphabetical order, here are my top 7 style stars of 2012.
Blake Lively
Whether on the set of Gossip Girl playing Serena van Der Woodsen, taking a stroll through the streets of New York with her pet pooch or hitting the red carpet, Blake Lively rarely puts a foot wrong in the style stakes.
Emma Watson
Emma Watson has made the difficult transition from child star to serious actress with relative ease. With a short pixie cut and various fashion collaborations she has also cemented her place as one of the most stylish young A-Listers around. I especially love that she isn’t afraid to experiment with her look and try new things.
Frankie Sandford
Frankie Sandford is my favorite member of the Saturdays. Although all five girls are stylish, I relate to Frankie’s style the most. Whether she’s filming a reality show in LA, wrapping up warm in winter or hitting the tiles for a night on the town, Frankie always gets it right.
Kate Middleton – The Duchess of Cambridge
The Duchess of Cambridge had so many outstanding fashion moments in 2012 that I decided to include two pictures to capture some of her best outfits. Even narrowing it down to two outfits was extremely difficult. Her fashion sense has carefully evolved and with modern-yet-classic details, Kate has sealed her spot as one of 2012’s most stylish women. Although I am not necessarily in a position where I can wear some of the fabulous clothes she wears, I am always excited to see what Kate will wear next.
Miranda Kerr
Miranda Kerr always looks like she has just stepped off a catwalk, and as one of the worlds biggest supermodels, that is exactly how it should be. I for one can’t wait to see what looks she comes up with in 2013.
Olivia Palermo
Olivia Palermo has a unique ability to mix colour, textures and patterns, with exquisite jewellery and make it look effortless. She always looks super stylish, yet it never looks like she has put too much time and effort into her appearance. I have yet to see her wear an outfit I do not want to own myself and could only dream of having a wardrobe like hers. Once again, I can’t wait to see more from OP in 2013.
Victoria Beckham
The mother of four had a very successful and stylish 2012. Her collection for New York Fashion Week received positive reviews and she continues to climb the ranks in the fashion industry every day. In 2012 she also put her stylish touch on Land Rovers, and despite being a full-time mum and wife, Victoria ensures she never lets her style slip.
