The Brit Awards were held in London last night and some of the style choices on the red carpet left a lot to be desired. Black was a stand out trend, but personally I think there was a lot of misses and only a few hits, so it was very easy to decide on the best dressed. Here are the looks that I loved.
Without a shadow of a doubt, Taylor Swift was the best dressed celebrity last night. She looked amazing as always, and shone like the superstar that she is in this beautiful full-length gown by Elie Saab. I also loved her performance of her latest hit “I Knew You Were Trouble” and I had a inkling that she was going to remove her oversized ball gown (pictured below) to reveal a different outfit and she did in spectacular style. Whether you are a Taylor fan or not, if you haven’t saw her performance I would definitely recommend that you watch it. 🙂
The Irish MTV presenter always gets it right when it comes to the red carpet and last night was no exception. Laura opted for this metallic mini-dress by Zoe Jordan for the ceremony, which showed off her amazing legs to perfection.
Aluna Francis was one of the big hits of the night in her sheer sequin gown by Theyskens’ Theory. The singer- songwriter dared to show some skin and it totally worked. LOVE!
Jessie J looked fantastic in this plunging Versace dress that she paired with Jimmy Choos. This look has been compared to Taylor Swift’s as both stars wore black dresses and Jessie also accessorised with a gold belt. Although I do like this look, I think Taylor wins in the battle of the black dresses.
Showing off four very different and quirky looks, I loved Little Mix’s outfits last night. Their outfits reflected their individual personalities and it was nice to see them ditch the denim and show off a more feminine side.
I was also very impressed with how well dressed the men were last night. Here is a peek at the stylish suits Justin Timberlake, One Direction and JLS sported for the occasion.
JT and One Direction both had amazing performances last night. Actually all of the performances were fantastic and I really enjoyed the whole ceremony.
Hope you like it. 🙂
