May got off to such a beautiful start yesterday that it really felt like summer had arrived. I was so happy and so sure I could say goodbye to black tights for a little while but then today came and brought the rain with it. 🙁 On the up side it was a good excuse to wear my straw hat from Penneys. I know it is meant for the sun but it worked just as well keeping my hair dry. 🙂 The rest of my outfit is made up of pieces that have all featured in previous posts. I suppose you could say it is kind of my take on the preppy look. I wore my green pastel jumper from Penneys over this skull print shirt I picked up in New York and my elephant print Penneys shorts. I am slightly obsessed with all of these pieces so wearing them altogether was a bonus. I love this shirt and the gold cuffs on the collar add some nice extra detail. I also wore my black studded Penneys flats and one of my Marc B bags. This is such a great bag. The colour is so versatile, it is the perfect size to work for both day and night and, as I have said many times before, Marc B bags are such great quality. I finished off the look with some bracelets from The Button and Bow Factory, Miss Selfridge and New York, and rings from H&M and Sabo Skirt.
