I’m taking a little break from Oz posts today to bring you an outfit I wore/shot before I left Ireland. The weather was awesome in the weeks before I left and this of course made me a very happy camper. The sun always makes me smile and it meant I could wear whatever I wanted. It also meant the leaves started to turn the most incredible colours. This shed/abandoned cottage is really close to my house at home and I passed it (walking and driving) every single day. I have wanted to shoot a look here for over a year (I couldn’t last year due to some major Ph.D. stress) and I made sure I got some before I left. As you know, my camera is broken so I got these on a little point and shoot. It wasn’t ideal and of course I would have preferred my camera, but I think they turned out pretty damn good for a little (albeit very good) point and shoot. You can really feel fall in the air now here in New York and I am so excited to see what amazing colours it brings with it.
A few quick words on my outfit here (you may recognise it from my Instagram – @lcscloset?). On my last trip to Dublin before I left, I strolled casually into River Island to kill some time/buy these shoes. I really hadn’t bet on falling head over heels for this top. I just LOVE it and I think you guys do too. You loved this pic I shared on Instagram and not to over exaggerate or anything but this may just be my favourite purchase EVERRRRR….
Hope you have a great weekend,
