Happy November!!! Did you all have a good Halloween? I can honestly say my costume was the best one I have ever had… and it was part of a duo. Such fun! If you didn’t see it be sure to check it out on my Instagram (@lcscloset). I’ll also be sharing it here later in the week.
In today’s post I’m sharing a look from over the weekend. I’m afraid practicality and the weather (it was so flipping cold – hats off the all of the amazing runners who ran the marathon in that wind) got the better of my usual colour popping ways. So I wore a completely monochrome look sans colour for the first time in absolutely ages. I actually did wear a coat (I’m not that silly) but I whipped it off to showcase my look. This sweater is amazingly warm though. It’s made from extrafine merino wool, angora and nylon, so it’s kinda perfect for keeping the chilly weather at bay. There’s also a really fun fact about this sweater that I will show you very soon (or that you can see right now by checking out the outfit details below). 🙂
To compliment the sweater I kept the rest of my look fairly simple and wore this flounced H&M skirt (which is quickly becoming one of my favs), with some black shoes and black accessories. My black hat is a new addition to my wardrobe and if last Sunday is anything to go by, you’ll definitely be seeing a lot more hats on my head over the next few months.
I hope you like it and have a great week,
