Hey guys,

I hope you’re all having a good week. February got off to a very messy start here in New York. Lots of snow and ice, slippy streets and slush. I like to call the slush puddles on street corners “puddles of doom” because you just don’t know how deep they’re gonna be and hope for the best that you’ll come out alive if you have to step into them. It’s all part of the New York experience though, so I am just delighted I invested in a good pair of waterproof boots…

Anyway… I finally have a new look for you guys! These photos were taken right before the Blizzard that never was. It was the first day in a long time that it wasn’t absolutely freezing so I took advantage of the (slightly) higher temperatures and wore one of my absolute favourite NYC purchases… this gorgeous Banana Republic Duffle Coat. I was being very good to myself the day I bought this. 🙂

It’s still winter here, so I still wrapped up well with some Topshop pieces, my Forever 21 beanie and this gorgeous Primark scarf (it’s one of my favs). I’m a complete Topshop girl at heart (my jeans and shirt are both Topshop) and it kills me that it’s so expensive over here. I want to buy everything but then I remember I need to eat and pay rent… it’s no fun! My boots are another pair of Sam Edelman’s. I am completely obsessed with their boots. Super comfy and stylish and kind to bank balance too. 🙂
