Hey hey… Happy Hump Day! I can’t believe how long it’s been since I shared a regular outfit post. It’s feels like it’s been an age and I’m pretty sure I had a touch of writer’s block trying to write this post. Believe it or not, I shot this look way way waaaaaaaay back in June before I went home for my brother’s wedding – hence the swollen jaw (tooth problems) and my milk bottle white status (both are no longer in existence thankfully).
It’s crazy how fast this summer is flying by. I feel like it’s only just started and we’re already approaching Labor Day over here. Maybe I feel it’s flown by because I’ve packed in quite a few trips. My summer really kicked off with my trip to Ohio for my friends wedding at the beginning of May and it’s been a bit of a whirlwind ever since. The following weekend we had our girls trip to Montauk, a few weeks later I was on a plane home to Ireland for the wedding, and I was only just back in New York when I was off again to San Francisco and Lake Tahoe for 4th of July. So I guess it’s fair to say I’ve been clocking up the air miles this year…

After kicking off the summer with a mad dash of trips, I’ve been spending the recent weekends recently hanging out in the city, trying new brunch spots (Ruby’s in Murray Hill is a new fav) and making trips to the beach. I do have one last hurrah before autumn/fall comes knocking. In just over two weeks I’m off to Vegas with the girls… Eeeeks!
I will be leaving from New York (of course) with Erika, and we’ll be meeting a good gang of the girls from home over there. It’ll be Labor Day weekend too (the official end of summer), so we have an extra day to have take in all Vegas has to offer. It’s gonna be FUN and I’m super excited.
