Off The Shoulder Top and Pleated Shorts

Am I the only one who thinks it feels like it should be Friday? Or maybe I’m just too excited for this weekend? It’s gonna be a good one. Erika, Ciara and yours truly are going Fire Island.

My boss has a house on the island and she invited us out for the weekend. Before I started working for my company I’d never even heard of Fire Island. This summer it feels like absolutely everyone has gone there, and they have all had amazing things to say. So, naturally I am super excited for the weekend. Be sure to follow along on my social channels, especially Instagram and Snapchat (usernames: lcscloset), to keep up with all our adventures. I am a little sad though. It will probably be the last hurrah outside of the city for the summer. My summer kicked off in Miami at the start of May, moved to Cape Cod for 4th of July and was followed up by a weekend in The Hamptons a few weeks ago. There was plenty of trips to the beach, nights with rooftop cocktails and fun days out this summer too. It was definitely a busy one, so it’s no wonder it feels like summer has absolutely flown. I think you’ll agree that it’s been a pretty good one this year. 🙂

Today’s look is one I shared on Instagram last week from a Saturday in Soho. I can honestly say if I had the wardrobe to wear an outfit like this everyday, I’d be one seriously happy camper. There is nothing I love more than wearing simple neutrals and adding a splash of colour with some great accessories. I adore this suede bag. It’s such a statement piece. It’s a Topshop number and it’s a few years old, but I’ve linked some similar items below.
