Winter Warmers in The West Village

 Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s my first time to experience the infamous American holiday, so I am super excited. This week is also a big week for LC’s Closet. My blog turned two yesterday. I can’t believe it’s been two whole years since I set up my own little corner of the world to share my love of fashion. I know I took a little 6-month break around this time last year to finish my Ph.D. and then relax after running what felt like the ultimate mental marathon, but the time really has flown by. Now that I am in New York, I am so excited to see what the next year holds. I don’t want to let this little milestone pass unmarked though, so in the next few weeks I’ll be giving away a little something to say thank you to all of my readers. 🙂

Now on to today’s look. I LOVE the West Village. It is without a doubt one of my absolute favourite parts of this great city. It’s ridiculously beautiful and you just never know what little gem you are going to stumble upon. Whether it is an unbelievable restaurant, cute bakery or little quotes that just make you smile, I really do love it. I wore this look for brunch and a stroll around the village on a ridiculous cold November day. It really felt like winter, so I was really wrapped up for the cold.
