How is it Wednesday already??? The weeks are flying by and it’s now just two weeks until Christmas! I LOVE Christmas and I am loving the build up to it over here (like my friend Siobhan said when she came to visit at the weekend – New York knows how to do Christmas!), but I have an awful feeling I’m gonna be more than a little homesick when the big day arrives.
Today’s look is one I shot around Central Park a few weeks ago (you might have seen it on my Instagram?). Winter has well and truly arrived in New York so I definitely won’t be wearing bare arms for a while. I can’t believe I’m about to talk about my tights but I LOVE these ones. My mother (the legend that she is) sent me these tights from Penneys/Primark a few weeks ago. They have built in socks and I just think they are the best thing since sliced bread! I’m so obsessed I got her to send me a few more pairs to get me through winter. 🙂 My check dress and black boots are both NY purchases. This dress fits like a glove and is super comfy and flattering. I’ve worn it so much already and have no doubt I’ll wear it a lot more over the next few chilly months. These blacks boots were the first pair I bought here and they were worth every cent. I’ve bought another two pairs since and I could keep buying more and more. One thing I’ve learned since I’ve been here is that you can never have enough pairs of black boots in NYC.
