Oh the changing seasons! One of the things I love most about living in New York is getting to truly experience 4 seasons every year. The only problem is that with every season comes a need for a different wardrobe. Of course the shopaholic in me loves this (is there anything better than wearing a new clothes?), but my bank account and bursting (not so spacious) wardrobe aren’t so thrilled…
Transitioning from one season to another is always tricky. You’ll get days where you find you’re wearing way too much, so the next day you shed a few layers and freeze your ass off. For me, I think you can’t go wrong with a good chunky sweater, some jeans and a great pair of boots (you can never have too many boots!)! If it’s funny, once spring hits and the days start to get longer, I always find myself reaching for my white jeans (similar here and here). I don’t know what it is about them, but I think they add the perfect dash to brightness to take our warm weather staples out of the darkness of winter and into spring – without breaking the bank!
How do you transition through the seasons?
