So as you know from my last post, I had a quick look around the shops yesterday and I must say I am VERY impressed with Penneys (Primark) in the last few weeks. Their autumn/winter collection this year is fantastic. It’s right on trend and the clothes don’t look cheap at all. In fact, they look far more expensive than what they actually cost, and I have had to say “no Lorna cop on, you can’t buy all this” on more than one occasion. Here is a picture of what I bought on my last two trips to Penneys (yesterday and last Tuesday).
I can’t wait to wear all of it. I’m particularly impressed with these boots. They are excellent quality and only cost €24. I was going to buy some from Topshop or Dorothy Perkins for around £60 so I’m delighted I waited. Here are some pics of me trying the boots on in-store… there was no full-length mirror so I improvised. 😉
As I said, I had to stop myself from buying everything I wanted, such as a class embellished collar shirt with a wrap around back (it’s very nice), lovely bouclé coats and jackets, or some little knit jumpers in every colour, and about 5 pairs of coloured flats. They also had a pair of chunky heeled shoe boots with studs on the heel. They are gorgeous but I resisted as I already have 3 pairs of black shoe boots and really don’t need another pair, but these are completely different to any of the ones I have so I might just have to make another trip.
I’ll keep you posted.
