If you saw my last outfit post from around where I work in Manhattan, you might notice a BIG difference in my tan? This is mainly due to the amazing lighting in Miami (everything looks good there), partly due to one quick coat of Cocoa Brown Gentle Bronze (I usually never wear tan on holiday but I made an exception due to my ridiculous whiteness) and my own natural tanning ways. Believe it or not, in two quick days at the beach (wearing at Factor 30) I actually got a hint of a tan. I am no longer the whitest person in New York… yipeeeee!!
If I had to choose one style of clothing to live in for the rest of my life, it would without a doubt be beach style. I LOOOOOOVE IT!! It’s a total easy, breezy, I woke up like this, effortless style that just always works…
The week leading up to Miami was a little crazy for me (you might have seen this if you follow my Snapchat – lcscloset). I had friends in town, so I was busy playing tourist, doing some of my favourite things to do for free in New York and trying out the best secret bars Manhattan has to offer (I’ll have a post on these soon). So of course I left packing to the very last minute (I’ll probably do the same this weekend for Ocean City) and had a complete what the hell am I going to wear in Miami moment?!
Thankfully, part of playing tourist involved a trip to Hollister where I picked up this shirt on sale for $17 ( TOTAL BARGAIN!). To me, it screams beach life! I have worn it in New York too but it’s so perfect for the beach. Perfectly oversized and casual, yet dressy at the same time. Pop on some simple white shorts, and a hat and sunnies, and you’re good to go. Just what you need when you’re on holiday. And of course an all white outfit is so Miami.
Hope you’re having a good week,
Lorna x

super gorgeous!! <3 Love it!
Thank you Marissa ❤
Love this look…just wondering what camera do you use for your photos on the blog? I’m in the market for a camera at the moment and I’m struggling to decide!
Thanks Sara,
I use a Canon 1100D. This look was shot with a 50mm 1.8 lens but I usually use a 18-55mm lens (that came with the camera when I bought it). It took me ages to choose too but in the end I went with an entry level DSLR because I really didn’t know anything about cameras and this is so easy to use. I hope this helps 🙂
Thanks so much! I’m thinking canon alright..there’s so much to choose from though but as I don’t have any experience with cameras either, that might be the best route to go!
Really cool look!
Thanks so much Donna 🙂 ❤
