Friday Five: Five Things I’m Excited For This Month

NYC Blogger: Friday Five

Happy Friday!!! Ok I have to be totally honest here and admit this was last week’s Friday Five post. After posting my #WearingIrish post last Friday, I just couldn’t get this one wrapped up too – Blogger problems!! So although it’s one week late it’s very applicable to just how excited I am for what’s ahead this month. So here goes…

It’s March – MARCH!!! I genuinely can’t believe it but I am ridiculously excited for this month. I have so many plans and fun things coming up, so today I thought I’d share 5 exciting things I’m excited for this month. To be totally honest, this is kind of a mini to-do list for me too…

1. My Brother’s Wedding

My brother is getting married in Australia in 4 weeks… Eeeeeks! I’m so excited!!! But I have yet to bite the bullet and buy a dress – Why am I so bloody indecisive! Note to self – order one already, time is a tickin!!

2. Seeing (some of) My Family

I’m gonna see half of my family in Australia. My younger siblings are in school (exam years) and college (exam time), so they won’t be able to come but I’m excited to see half of the fam – which is still a lot of people in fairness.

3. Australia (and then Bali)

The wedding is in Australia so that’s where I’m off to. I’ve been to the East Coast of Australia before, but never to the West Coast. I’m excited to explore a new part of such a beautiful country (@australia is one of my fav Instagram accounts). I also can’t even express how excited I am to eat my weight in Avocado Toast – The Aussie’s do it best after all. I just need to book my Oz visa asap!

After Oz, we’re going to spend a few days in Bali. I’ve never been here before either!!! I also have yet to book my flights and check if I need to get shots! So many things, so little time!! Why am I so unorganised?

4. #WearingIrish

I’m also going to try to wear more Irish brands throughout March. I talked all about #WearingIrish in my post last week post, and I’m really looking forward to the challenge of trying to incorporate more Irish pieces into my day-to-day looks. Oh and yes I am wearing Irish here. My oversized cardi is from Dunnes and my scarf is Penneys (which does count – it’s a super successful Irish company).

5. Shopping

Well I am going on holiday… So I need a whole new wardrobe right? My bank account will be weeping after this week but I can’t wait to start buying more summery stuff. Let me know if you’d like to see a post of all the holiday bits I have my eye on. Note to self – get shopping!!

It’s gonna be a busy but crazy exciting month! I’m actually so excited!!!!

Have a great weekend,
