The Beauty Corner: Caudalie

NYC Blogger: Caudalie Product Reviews 1

Helloooooo from Ireland guys. I’m here a little longer than originally planned but I’m loving (maybe a bit too much) all the delicious and oh-so fresh food. I’ve probably had about 5,275 cups of tea at this stage and if I could just put down the Cadbury’s that would be fab. Seriously though, I am having such a lovely time at home.

Back to today’s post! About 2 months ago I introduced a new beauty series here on LC’s Closet to share some of my favourite beauty products with you. As I mentioned in that post, last year I set myself the goal of being more adventurous with the beauty products I use. I ended up surprising myself with how many new products I loved (here are some of top discoveries from 2016) and I’ve kept trying out new products throughout this year too.

So I’m here sharing my first recent discovery – Caudalie. Caudalie is a brand that originated in France and has been on my “must try” list for the last year. I’ve read such amazing things about their products and I finally got some bits from Look Fantastic with the Caudalie Beauty Box during the summer.

So far my go to products have been the Resveratrol Eye Lifting Balm and the Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet

I remember reading somewhere that the Resveratrol Eye Lifting Balm was a wonder eye cream and I couldn’t agree more. The past few months have been beyond demanding and draining for me and I could really see it starting to take it’s toll on my eye area with dark circles and SO! MANY! LINES!!! – I’m not 18 anymore… sob! Literally as soon as I started using this balm I could notice my eyes looking brighter and less puffy, so naturally it’s been my best friend ever since. It promises to smooth out even the finest of wrinkles too, but I’m gonna have to give it a little more time to report back on that.

Using a sorbet style moisturiser is definitely new for me. I had heard they are great for the warmer months, so given how hot and humid it gets in NYC during summer, it was the perfect opportunity for me to try it out. Over the last months weeks, I’ve been using Caudalie’s Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet every night right after I apply the eye balm. I love how the cream almost melts into my skin and doesn’t leave me with a greasy feeling I’d have with some other moisturisers I’ve used in the past. It was perfect for using throughout the summer, so I can’t to see how I find it as the temperatures fall over the next few months.

So far I’m loving Caudalie’s products and can’t wait to try out more products when I get back to New York.
