The countdown is well and truly on for my NYC adventure and I have such a mix of excitement and nerves… it’s a little crazy. Like I said in my post last week, I have already started the mass wardrobe clear out and I will be sharing my progress and the build up to my big move with you here over the next few weeks, so be sure to check back to see how I am getting on.
I wore today’s look to the New Look Press Day in Dublin a few weeks ago. We got these pics in Trinity College and it was pretty damn busy with tourists, so I found a quiet little corner to get most of these shots. I have passed Trinity so many times but this was the first time I ventured inside. That’s another little thing I can check off my Ireland bucket list for this summer. 🙂 Like with my last post (you can check that out here), all of the items I am wearing have appeared on the blog before. I firmly believe in buying pieces I will wear more than once and I hope I show this through the day-to-day looks I share with you here.
If there is one thing my wardrobe clear out has opened my eyes to, it’s how much clothes I bought in the past that I only wore once or not at all. It seems like a complete waste now and I know I will definitely be sure to get better wear out of what I buy in future. With the look I am wearing here, I knew I was going to be travelling most of the day so I really wanted to wear a simple, comfy yet stylish look. I think my cream blazer and ripped jeans combo was the perfect look this.
I hope you like it,
