The winter chill really hit New York yesterday so I am pretty sure this outfit post will be the last one with my legs out for quite a while. If you follow me on Instagram (@lcscloset) you may have already seen a sneak peek of today’s look. I have been wanting to shoot in Central Park for weeks now. It is just so unbelievably beautiful at this time of year and I really wanted to get some snaps there. I FINALLY got a chance to a few days ago (a massive thanks Kate for taking these pics) and here is the result. Unfortunately the weather and light wasn’t on my side (the pics are a little too dull for my liking) but what can ya do?! I still love the result and I absolutely love this outfit.
I shared a pic of this sweater/skirt combo when I bought it a few weeks ago (you can see it here) and I honestly couldn’t wait to wear it (I felt like Carrie from SATC in Central Park… it was amazing!). I love this flared skirt… the print, the shape, the colours, the dramatic flare. It’s just perfection and I know I’ll be able to wear it with so many different looks. My sweater is super cosy, which is exactly what I need as the temperatures start to drop. I am honestly terrified for winter here. Everyone talks about how horrible and unbelievably cold it is… so I think it’s time I bought some thermals. It’ll be an experience anyway that’s for sure…
Hope you like my look and have a great weekend,
p.s. Be sure to follow me on Instagram and Snapchat (lcscloset) to keep up with adventures around NYC 🙂
